Heat tools are often used in rough environments like marinas and job sites. Heavy wear & tear can take its toll, just like any other hardware. That’s why SF Tools offers customers handy maintenance tips as well as factory repair options.

If your heat tool is damaged or appears worn out, we can fix or refurbish it to like-new condition in our New Hampshire factory.
Refurbishment, Parts and Repair Details
For Heat Tools:
Models Shrinkfast 200 (998), Shrinkfast 975, and Shrinkfast 60 (MZ)
1. Refurbish Program: If the heat tool comes back with cracked housings, bad trigger, damaged combustor, etc., we recommend refurbishing the heat tool.
We can replace every part on the heat tool, so the tool is returned to the customer virtually brand new. We also provide a new six-month warranty on the work. The average cost for the end user is $375, which is half the price of a new heat tool kit.
2. Parts Only Program: If a customer has taken care of the heat tool and for example, only the trigger/igniter is worn out, we can just replace that individual part.
Example: Customers would pay for the trigger, plus a cleaning ($78 part cost + labor = approx. $100).
For Extensions:
Models Shrinkfast 200 (998) & 975
We replace all internal components, sandblast, and paint each extension. We also provide a six-month warranty on the work. Cost estimates:
- 6’ Extension Cost: $175
- 4’ Extension Cost: $150
- 2’ Extension Cost: $125
Return Procedure:
1. Call SF Tools at 800.867.4746 or email info@sftools.com and inform the representative what products are coming back.
2. Ship products and your customer contact information to: SF Tools, 460 Sunapee St., Newport, NH 03773 | Attn: Repairs
3. Customer will receive a phone call or email with the repair estimate, and once approved the repaired items will ship within 2 – 3 business days. Payment is by MasterCard, Visa, Discover or AMEX.
4. If the customer declines to have the products repaired, they are returned to the customer as is or discarded at the SF Tools facility.
