1. Product Use & Safety

SF Tools manufactures high-powered direct heat tools (including the Shrinkfast 60, 200, and 975).

  • Inherent Risk: You acknowledge that our products use open flames and high temperatures. Use of these tools involves inherent risks of property damage, personal injury, or death.

  • Compliance: You agree to use all products in strict accordance with the provided safety manuals, local fire codes, and industry regulations.

  • Certification: Our tools are UL, cUL, and CE safety-certified. Modifying the tools or using non-SF Tools extensions/parts may void these certifications and poses a significant safety hazard.

2. Training and Technical Support

While SF Tools provides safety guides and technical support, the end-user is responsible for ensuring all operators are properly trained. SF Tools is not liable for accidents resulting from improper training or negligence.

3. Purchases and Payments

  • Distributors: Many SF Tools products are sold through authorized distributors. Purchases made through third-party distributors are subject to those distributors' specific sales terms.

  • Pricing: All prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at an incorrect price.

  • Payment: For direct repairs or parts purchases, payment must be made via approved credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX) at the time of service.

4. Shipping and Returns

  • Shipping: Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.

  • Repair Program: For tools sent to our Newport, NH facility for refurbishment, the customer is responsible for shipping costs to the facility. Repaired items will be returned via the method selected during the estimate approval.

5. Intellectual Property

7. Warranty

  • New Products: Standard manufacturer warranties apply to new tools.

  • Refurbishment: We provide a limited six-month warranty on work performed through our official factory refurbishment program.

  • Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized repairs, or "acts of God."

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Sullivan County, New Hampshire.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
